Limmudnik Rahel Halabe goes to Beijing

Vancouver’s Rahel Halabe was thinking about presenting at LimmudVan ’16. But she had to withdraw her offer after deciding to teach Hebrew for nine months at Beijing University.

But she did not abandon Limmud.

Limmud China bills itself as the place to be for Jews from across Asia. “Together we will learn, laugh, teach and make new connections while sharing anything from klezmer music to how to jar pickles.”
